Many years ago my dad created this tool that every taxidermist needs to have in their shop. It will give you better & more consistent results on the ears of your deer mounts. He always struggled with getting good, consistent size & shape to the ear butts on his mounts, this tool has solved that problem! The tool was cast directly from real deer ears, so it is completely natural & realistic. They are easy to use ,simply put clay in the ear butts & press the tool onto ears to shape them into the most realistic ears you can possibly achieve. You will still have the flexibility of fine tuning to your own satisfaction, but this tool will give you a near perfect start. It will work on ears in the back or forward pose equally well.
